What Can I Do For The Hard Stools That When Forced Causing Bleeding And Hurts The Stomach?
Hi, im 20 years old. healthy, its been two days the max, that i have had to go for a #2 but i cant go because its to hard and it feels like its backed up. and when i do its bleeding a little. but some of the poop looks like blood, and it hurts my stomach a little to,, but not much, what would i be able to do before going to see a doctor to try and treat it a little.
This is a common problem. Softening the stools will make you more comfortable and, most likely, stop the appearance of blood. I recommend an over the counter laxative, like glycolax or metamucil, to help resolve this problem. If you begin by taking it daily as directed, this should soften your stool. Also, be mindful of your diet. stay away from starchy foods that tend to lead to this problem. If the problem doesn't resolve with these measure, you should consult your doctor. Good luck.
