What Can I Expect After Hysterectomy For Uterus And Tube Removal?

I am scheduled for a hysterectomy on April 10th. I don t know much about it other than my doc will remove my uterus and tubes (but leave the ovaries). The method will be through 3 or 4 incisions in my abdomen using robotics. I am in 49 and in very good shape but am concerned about how I will feel 1 -2 weeks after the surgery. Will I feel like being up and around? Can I keep my plans to fly on a commercial airplane 1 week after my surgery? Will there be a lot of bleeding? I ve been reading so much that I am confused about what to expect. Any input will be helpful. Thank you!!!!

I really appreciate your concern the over all hysterectomy procedure is depends upon the pathology that you have in your uterus and the exact nature of disease that is responsible for hysterectomy, this is very much obvious that you must have been told all the detail about your disease and operative procedure that they are going to perform you better ask the surgeon the same questions, hope this information helps you have nice day.
