What Can I Use To Treat Tinea Versicolor Without Itching?
Hello, I have Tinea Versicolor for the last 5 years. But there is no itching on the skin. But it spread all over on my chest, backside. What I can I used for it and getting removed the white dots from skin.. Now I'm using Keto soap (Ketoconazole) for the prescribed of Beautician. Pls Suggest me.
Tinea versicolor is easily amenable to treatment either with oral or topical antifungals.
Even after treatment post-inflammatory hypoigmenation persists for 1-3 months giving the impression of recurrence or resistance to therapy.
If i were your treating dermatologist, i would have asked you to apply 2% ketoconazole lotion over the whole affected while showering and leave it on for 5 minutes daily for 5 days.

Hi. Thanks for posting at HCM Tinea versicolor is easily amenable to treatment either with oral or topical antifungals. Post-inflammatory hypopigmentation takes some time to respond. Repigmentation can be hastened by daily sun exposure for 5-10 minutes. take care regards
