What Can Be Done To Stop Nausea And Vomit?
Today and two days ago I had burning along my right side, I'm fairly sure it's ascending colon. Two days ago it got bad enough to make me nauseous and vomit, and so I didn't eat much but soup for a day. But eating pasta has caused it again. It's quite intense.

As you describe, it appears to be the gastric hyper acidity, may look like that of ascending colon, or kidney related.
I advise you to consult a gastroenterologist for diagnosis and treatment.
You may need to have gastroscopy, ultrasound, and other tests for diagnosis.
I usually prescribe to my patient with such symptoms omeprazole, domperidone, antacid gel.
