What Can Be The Reason For Significant ST-T Changes During Exercise And In Recovery?
hi doctor, There is significant st-t changes noted during exercise in tmt test at the peak while my BP was absolutely normal during the resting condition .My heart rate was 61beat/min resting BP130/80,baseline ECG did not show ST-T changes achieve a max heart rate of 170 beats/m max BP achieve 150/100 mm .There was no Engina. There were significant ST-T changes noted during excercise and in recovery. Good excercise tolerance.
Hello, ST-T changes are indicative of ischaemia of the corresponding myocardium. If ST T elevation is in anterior leads suggest myocardial ishemia in anterior walk while ST T elevation in inferior leads suggest ischaemia in inferior or posterior walls. These changes which occur during exercises and then coming back to normal at rest suggests reversible ischaemia. Thanks
