What Can Cause Constant Phlegm And Mucus In Throat ?

Hello I dip snuff (15 yrs). Lately ive been getting phlegm or mucus in my throat that is constant and stubborn to clear. Im on a nicotine patch now and only dip at the most desperate moments, which seems to irritate my throat worse.

Ive never had this problem before. Can anyone tell me what this is? Is this a sign of cancer? Thank you.

No it is not a sign of cancer...

It is allergic, please try to find out source of your allergy and take precautions.

Take anti-allergic medicine (like levocetrizine) for at least 5 days...
