What Can Cause Vision Problems And Ringing In Ears While Having Hiccups?

I hiccuped and I felt a strong pain in my chest I went to sit down and the pain intensified causing my vision to slowly blacken even though my eyes were wide open and ringing in my ears. I tried walking to the couch but blacked out before I got to it. What could this be?

hi, hiccups increase the pressure in your chest and transiently reduce the cardiac output, reducing blood supply to brain, eyes and ears which respond in the way you appreciated. it may happen normally in healthy adults. you may not worry about it. hope this helped.
