Hello, I have been having some trouble with my ears, I am feeling a weird pressure in my left ear but havent experienced any hearing loss or symptoms that come with an ear infection - I did have a sore throat about a week ago that cleared up when I took some Beechams All in One, any ideas?
Noted your history of weird pressure in left ear without any pain or loss of hearing, had sore throat one week ago. Since there is no pain and hearning loss means there may be just a small amount of fluid or inflammation of the tympanic membrane that is causing the pressure symptoms and nothing else. Although there are no other symptoms, you should get the ENT Endoscopy to be sure about the problem so that you can have a proper management. This can be in the form of oral anti-inflammatory medicines, decongestant and as needed. Continue the medicines as needed. Do not blow nose. Do not instill anything in ear. Povidone iodine gargles.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
