What Can Help Deal With Knee Pain After An Injury?

Hi, I missed my footing on a step and landed heavily twisted my ankle and knee. The knee pain was immediate and severe but quietened down after a couple of hours. Now I have calf pain also, can't put much weight on the leg and it feels as though I've also damaged my Archilles tendon. Should I start with RICE? Would walking in a warm pool help?
Thanks.

Hi,

I have gone through your query.

Yes, you should start RICE therapy as soon as possible for 4 days.

Then start hot packs for 30 mins in morning and evening for 10 days

Avoid running jumping for about 10- 15 days.

I hope it helps.

Thanks.

Dr.Singh
