What Can The Spot On My Lungs Indicate?

Hi, may I answer your health queries right now ? Please type your query here...I have a spot on my lung, bronocospy showed no cancer, doc said maybe tb, I have sollen glans under my jaw, he said if nothing show up after the sputum test I would have to have my chest opened up. I refuse to this procedure. with out evidence of something. Im I right?

I can understand your concern.
In my opinion, you should start empirical anti tubercular drugs.
Spot on x ray, swollen cervical lymphnode, negative bronchoscopy for cancer are more suggestive of TB infection.
No need for invasive surgery.
And no worries in starting empirical anti tubercular drugs because in my clinical practice I have seen many patients with all reports normal and improved on anti tubercular drugs.
