What Casues Swelling In The Left Ankle?
My 30 year old son has swelling in his left ankle. He is in great health and exercises regularly. In the past 3 years, he has seen many doctors. He has had some type of vascular surgery done...compression hose....acupuncture...scans. Well he has grown very dispondent and depressed. Any new thoughts? Oh, there is no pain.

Ankle swelling is due to many causes first check whether it is associated with injury or not,if injury present then fracture or ligament injury can not be ruled out.so make a X ray first.
Check Sugar,kidney function and ECHO
Check blood twbc and dc count
Check liver function test
Check DVT in the affected legs.
Send all test reports if u have done it before
