I am really sorry to hear that about your Hematuria, that is bleeding per Urethra. Hi and welcome to HCM.. I read your question completely and have understood it well enough.. I being a surgeon, we encounter so many such cases and I can tell you that you need further evaluation to find out the cause of Hematuria and treat the cause.. Can I know your age? Because, Hematuria is age specific. The causes are diverse and we have to see where you fit in. Now I shall elaborate the various possibilities that you could be suffering from.. 1. Kidney Stones, cancer are the most common causes. 2. Ureter. Again same, stones, cancer and any form of obstruction 3. Bladder Stones, diverticulum, infections 4. Urethral causes almost similar to the above mentioned things. So please do not neglect and wait.. Better to get few tests. And do not get worried about cancer also, it s one of the cause. Let s evaluate and see.. Get these tests done.. 1. Urine routine and microscopy 2. Urine culture and sensitivity 3. Renal Usg scan These three are enough initially.
