What Causes A Black Line In The Vision Of My Left Eye?

I am 39, 160lbs, and 5 3. I am a gastric bypass patient 4 yrs out. Overall I am very healthy now. However, I have developed a black line in the vision of my left eye that is NOT a floater. My doctor suggests that it may be the viens behind the eye being enlarged what does this mean and how is it treated?

get your eye checked by retina surgeon. Treatment can be taken after getting opinion of retina surgeon.
