What Causes A Bloated Feeling With The Skin Turning Sensitive To Touch?

I had an xray showing stool in the transverse colon - I am currently drinking GoLytely, 6 glasses so far, with only one soft BM - I have tenderness under my ribcage on the right, some epigastric tenderness. I feel like I am a mess, and I am scared if this Golytely does not work - doc tested my lipase, no results back on that yet. No fever, no nausea or vomiting, but bloated and my skin is sensitive to touch ...if the golytely doesn t work, what next?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Your symptoms seem to be related to bloating. I recommend using simethicone medication to treat the bloating three tablets a day.

I also recommend avoiding food that can trigger the symptoms. I suggest to drink a lot of liquids and eat daily probiotics.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
