What Causes A Dark Bunion Behind The Little Toe?

My feet are badly callused. I have a bunion behind my baby toe. And my heels are hard callused and black, the bunion is black too. Could this be diabetes? What can I use to soften the calluses? I will admit, I use a razor to remove them but it doesn t last long. Pedicures help.

Dr. Hanif warmly welcomes you with thanks for a consult!

I have carefully worked through your case, and can well realize your health worries. Being your physician, I want to assure, I will take care all of your medical concerns according to the latest medical guidelines.

Calluses are usually formed at the pressure points. Change the shoes which you wear most of the time in the day. Shoes with a "memory foam" in the inner sole are best for you.

Drink plenty of water and fluids. It will help hydrate the areas in the periphery too.

Apply Triamcinolone acetonide ointment 0.1% on the soles and hardened dry skin or calluses. On other areas of feet apply Eucerin Intensive Repair body lotion.
