What Causes A Discharge After Sex?

Hi, may I answer your health queries right now ? Please type your query here...I had intercoarse yesterday andid wit now leaking a fluid with dicharge on and off today. I breastfeed and usually am dry. Could this be an infection in just one day or just coincidence.

Thanks for posting in HCM.
I understand your concern.
If you had unprotected intercourse, then probably it might not be infection causing fluid discharge. Also, since you haven't stated that it is not associated with foul smell and itching, it is unlikely that it could be infection.
It might have caused due to over-reaction by the vaginal mucosa or could be due to liquified semen draining out.
It should subside on its own in a couple of days. Take care to keep the area clean and hygienic. Kindly seek medical advise in case you develop other symptoms along with it.
