Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I marked a small spot on my arm which has the colour a little different from the original colour of my skin. I am applying on it Candid B ointment on the advice of a doctor. But I am not witnessing any change in the colour even after five days or so. Is it a correct prescription in my case?
Your symptoms seem to be related to a fungal infection. I recommend using an antifungal cream such as Miconazole cream. I also recommend to maintain good hygiene and wash and dry frequently the area.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
