Hello,
You are having a feeling of mild movement in the intestine. You also have low calcium levels. Such symptoms may be caused by gastric motility disorders, GERD,
gastroesophageal reflux disease, bloating, problems in muscle that helps in
peristalsis. Other factors that may cause you such symptoms are formation of gas, severe
constipation, diarrhea,
abdominal pain, vomiting, food poisoning, etc.
You are suggested to take antacids or PPIs for at least 10 days to help regulate your system. Avoid getting dehydrated since you have high calcium level. Try to stay active so that your digestive system is moving and calcium goes to your bones and muscles rather than your blood. Long periods of inactivity and a sedentary lifestyle causes
hypercalcemia.
Take high fiber food, stay adequately hydrated. If needed you can also take laxatives. Avoid constipation. Do not take oily, spicy food, junk food, processed or packaged food as they can trigger your symptoms. Get clinically examined by a GP to rule out any other pathology that may be causing you symptoms. You will be treated accordingly.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Nupur K., General & Family Physician
