I advice you to do blood for culture and sensitivity. When there is septicemia bacteria can be isolated from the blood culture. With the help of sensitivity, we can give antibiotics to the patient. Patient can be treated effectively with it. For fever you can give paracetamol under your doctors guidance. This will bring the temperature down. Do not do overdosing. Maintian good hygiene around baby. This will effectively play good role in treating the infection. Give good breastfeeding and ORS to baby.
