What Causes A Flu Despite A Flu Injection?

Hi my temp. is normally around 96-97 so last night I woke up with horrible chills, I figured I was getting sick so I went back to bed and woke up burning up. I took my temp and it was only 99. Is this considered a fever bc my temp is normally so low? Also why would I be getting the flu if I had the flu shot?

Suggestion
You have not mentioned your age and gender this was very important here because in medicine this is prime history taken first and this gives many important clue regarding the complaint and disease, treatments.
Treatment
99 F is not consider as fiver for just one time, this would be only significant if runs all along the way, so need to take any medicine for this.
Advise
Certain vaccine are there that des not provide hundred per protection in some subject, flu vaccine may be one of them, but here this is not the flu for sure, and this would be fine soon, just take this easy, no need to take this seriously, take care.
