Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain it seems that burnt feeling of the tongue along with dryness in mouth are inter-related and dry mouth also known as Xerostomia seems to be the cause of burnt feeling..
Due to dryness in mouth there is thinning of the oral mucosa leading to inflammation and causing Stomatitis..
Dry mouth can however be due to Salivary Gland disorders, side effects of medicines, mouth breathing habit, Sjogrens Syndrome etc..
Dry mouth causes thinning and inflammation of Oral mucosal surfaces and it can in turn lead to burnt feeling..
I would suggest you to consult an Oral Physician and get evaluated..
As of now you can start chewing sugar free chewing gum as it helps in stimulating saliva flow and relieve the symptoms..
You can also instil artificial saliva drops..
Drink plenty of water..
Avoid spicy foods and take a soft bland diet..

Hope this information helps..

Thanks and regards.
