General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

Keloid is notorious for recurrence. You can plan for surgery but there is always a chance for recurrence. If you are not comfortable with surgery, you can try intra lesional steroid injection. Consult a plastic surgeon and he will direct you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
