What Causes A Hard Lump On The Arm?

I have a semi-hard lump about half the size of a golf ball on the inner, body side of my right arm, just below the bicep muscle, and close to the elbow area. It s a little painful and is causing my hand to feel a little bit tingly. It arrived maybe 3 or 4 days ago. Any ideas of what it is ?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi welcome to the health care magic

If that lesion is filled by pus than could be boil like bacterial skin infection....

Infected Lipoma and nerve tumours like Neurofibroma also can be other possibility....

Here first work up you can do is local part USG....

If it is abscess than antibiotic given and if needed I&D done

But if it is suggestive of mass in USG than FNAC done to rule out nature of lesion

With keeping this in mind Consult surgeon or physician for examination

Take care

Hope your concern solved
