What Causes A Hard Painful Lump On The Arm?

I have a painful, hard lump on my left arm about the size of a nickel, located about an inch below my elbow on the inner side of my forearm. I did not bump my arm. I started doing a lifting workout with a kettle bell about a month ago and have been doing the hour long exercise 3 times a week. I noticed this lump a couple of days ago. Ice relievs the pain. Any thoughts on what this might be? Thanks for your help.
