What Causes A Large Hematoma On Left Side Of Groin After Having Hernia Surgery?

I have had hernia surgery three days ago,now i have a tennis ball size hematoma in the left side of my groin stomach area,im on the big island of hawaii,i went back to the hospital where they told me they could not do anything,what do i do,& can i fly on a plane?

Haematoma formation suggests that there have been bleeding in the wound. There are usually two course - either it dissolves spontaneously or it may suppurate. It would be better to get it evacuated. If it is not possible, then have a course of prophylactic antibiotics along with proteolytics to avoid suppuration.
