What Causes A Lump Near The Ankle When Diagnosed With Plantar Fasciitis?

Hello. I have been diagnosed with plantar fasciitis and a heel spur but I also have a great deal of stiffness and swelling. I also have a lump or knot on the side of my ankle and when the weather gets bad I am in a lot of pain. Can I have arthritis also?

dear
As rightly said in case of a plantar fascitis and a spur in heel it is quite possible of getting inflammatory swellng in the joint areas.
Though not frequent but in similar cases i have also seen precipitation of arthritis if not taken care.
Hence we have to be very careful now apart from the regular medicines a gentle foot care with hot fomentation, a regular uric acid, vit d3, check is essential.
Again a nutritious diet with lots of fluid and fibre and calcium rich diet.
soft foot wear can help for a chronic pain
hope this helps
most welcome for further queries
