What Causes A Lump On The Right Foot And Pain In The Heel?

Hello Dr. Rynne, I have been having trouble with my feet lately especially my left foot. Everytime I get up I feel like I am going to fall down. I can t put pressure on it. I have to hold on to something to get around in the house. In 2012 I had surgery for Spinal Stenosis and had a Titanium Plate put in my neck. I am told that I am a miracle because I am not supposed to be walking. I have a history of other illnesses in Lupus, and Fibromyalgia just to let you know. My question is could this be the why I am having trouble with my foot? Also, I have a knot on my right foot and my heel hurt. On my left foot where my arch is hurts too, but its deep and the whole foot hurts. Can you give me some advice? Thanks TA Smiley

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

It could be a bony spur or bunion.

Consult an orthopedician and get evaluated.

You might require an MRI scan for further assessment.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain,
