Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
3 days ago I had no marks on my arm. I had a protime test 2 days ago and have never had a problem with bruising. Yesterday I had HUGE bruise, and the worst, terrific pain in my left arm. Yellow and blue. I can handle the bruise, but I didn t sleep and arm is SO sore I grimace. Cold pads? WHAT to Do? thanks
The bruise is painful. I would advise you to take tablet ibuprofen plus paracetamol for 3 days twice a day. Colpnpads will be also useful. If itching is there take tablet Cetirizine for it. Avoid water touch to it.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Nirav Nimavat, General & Family Physician
