What Causes A Red Tender Rash With Tingling Sensation?
i was attacked by a cottonwood dagger moth caterpillar and am experiencing a red rash, tingling, swelling, and tenderness to the touch. These bumps are the size of a pea and itch. What do i need to do? Do i need to go to the hospital to seek medical attention immediately?

You are having hypersensitivity skin allergic reaction according to the mentioned history.
So you need to get treated with low dose steroid course.
Topical calamine lotion can be applied over that.
The oral antibiotic course also needs to be prescribed.
