What Causes A Slightly Swollen Raised Soft Tissue On The Right Wrist?
On my right wrist top is a slightly swollen raised soft tissue about the size of a 50 cent. Normal skin color no pain, very soft to the touch, feels like I can almost move it around. Not noticeable by others. No injury to wrist, can move hand back and bend forward, no pain.
hello welcome to healthcaremagic the most probable diagnosis by your description seems to be a ganglion. a ganglion is nothing but simple swelling of connective tissue with synovial tissue. its benign. definite treatment for it is excision or intra lesional injecton of triamcinolone. for symptomatic relief take diclofenac and pantop.
however other conditions should be ruled out. please get an xray of hand done. also do u have any history of trauma? please follow with a nearby orthopaedic surgeon.
