All doctors available. This is quite an interesting situation, as I am not at all familiar with the synthetic drug mephedrone, which is apparently legal. Looking for as much medical information on this as possible. However, the recent situation was a 30 yr old male with a suddenly swollen. right undescending (Constantly, used to be occasional) testicle. Swelling had increased over the course of 8 hours after use. Total use was a little over 600mg . Waiting on patient's diagnosis...Any thoughts/comments
Hello and welcome to HCM. As an Urologist, i can opine that, an undescended testis with acute swelling has to dealt with surgically, which includes, an ultrasound scan of the abdomen / Ct scan, blood routine and sugar. If the testia is found in the canal or into mthe abdomen, above the internal ring,it should be operated upon at the earliest, and sent for a biopsy. Whether Mephedrone has an effect on it, is irrelevant. If there're any doubts, you may contact me directly. Dr.Matthew J. Mangat.
