What Causes A White Patch In Pelvic Area After Giving Antibiotics To Infant?

Hi my 22 month old daughter has just finished a course of antibiotics for Scarlett fever. She now has a white patch about the size of a 10 pence piece on her bottom. She is distressed when you try to wipe at it or clean it. I thought it might be thrush resulting from the antibiotic but anything I have read talks about a red rash rather than white. What else could it be?

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, if this is the suspected hypersensitivity reaction lesion due to drugs so better to wait for some time because it will be self limiting one once you off the drug, some time it can be treated with Diphenhydramine orally and topical lotion if nothing helps then you have to see the dermatogist hope this information helps.
I find this answer helpful
