What Causes A Whooshing Sound In My Ear?
Hi,I am a 51 year old female still on contraceptive pill.Walk a lot,am fit,not overweight and never suffered from high blood pressure.Started with a whooshing sound in left ear.Normally night time.Feel heart beat...Had cat scan/colour dop scan.C scan showed up sclerosis of mastoid ear cells. Tender round mastoid bone area.Continued whooshing.No ear ache,dizziness,discharge.It now whooshes during the day too at times.Have been on a few anti biotic courses.Am i going to have a stroke/high blood pressure?

You may be suffering from tinnitus due to a middle ear infection or due to eustachian tube blockage. Avoid cool drinks and freeze water avoid smoking. Use water vapor inhalation and salt water gargling thrice a day for five days. Use a tablet Alday RD twice a day for five days. If symptoms not improved, please consult your doctor he will examine and treat you accordingly.
