Hello,
Ovulation (and if fertilized, conception) happens approximately 14 days before the next expected period.
In 28 day cycle, if the first day of
menstruation is called Day 1, then ovulation happens around day 14 give or take a couple of days.
The most accurate way to use a home preg. test is if you miss your period - in other words, at least 14 days after possible conception.
It isn't really possible to tell if you are pregnant based on symptoms that may also be related to the pre-menstrual phase.
Typical early symptoms of
pregnancy are
fatigue and breast tenderness, but again, the only way to know is to check at the appropriate time.
If a test is negative on the first day of a missed period, recheck in 1 week to see.
As long as your husband does get semen into your vagina, pregnancy should be possible. He might want to consider
premature ejaculation techniques to make things better for the two of you.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
