What Causes Abdominal Bloating After Wisdom Tooth Extraction?
My daughter had four (4) wisdom teeth extracted just over 48 hrs. ago. She feels extremely bloated today. She has taken several Vicadin over the past 48 hrs. (as prescribed for pain), as well as Penicillin (as prescribed), but can you tell me the specific reason for the bloating?
Well, as she has taken vicodin and penicillin post extraction of wisdom teeth therefore she has got side effect of the medication that is causing bloating.. So my suggestion is that she can take proton pump inhibitors like Omeprazole or Pantoprazole half an hour before meals and also eat plenty of probiotics like Yogurt till she is on medication . Also taking plenty of vicodin is not a good idea and the dose should be taken as per the advise of the Dentist.. She should also avoid heavy and spicy foods.. Do moderate workout and drink plenty of water..
Hope this helps..
Regards..
