What Causes Abdominal Bloating And Constipation In A Person With Diverticulitis?

So I know I have diverticulitis, which I have been hospitalized for about 9 years ago. Since then I have trouble going to the bathroom, I have constant bloating, I have been told I have IBS and given Linzess, however these do not seem to help. I have lower back pain, with abdominal pain, I feel very bloated after I eat and constipated. I have had a colonoscopy about 5 years ago. I have grainy mucas stools and both of my sides hurt.
