What Causes Abdominal Bloating And Cramps Post Intake Of Plan-B?

My girlfriend and I had unprotected sex 2 days ago (Jan 12, at around 1:45) today she decided to take the plan b pill just to be safe. She had her period the last week of December and it ended around January 2nd. Well as I was saying she took the pill today. But she's been feeling bloated and having cramps all day. And now that she took the pill she said she's been peeing a lot. Idk where to go from here. Please help

I have gone through your query and can understand your concern..
Abdominal cramps & bloating are common side effects due to intake of a plan B pill. They would go with time. She could take an anti-inflammatory drug like ibuprofen/acetaminophen, it would help in reduction of the cramps. She could also take antacids or abdominal bloating if it is untolerable or disturbing.
Next time use condom or regular contraceptive pill as method of contraception in future. They have better success rate in preventing pregnancy & have fewer side effects also. Regular intake of contraceptive pill could cause serious problems like irregular periods, ovarian problems & even in fertility.

Refer to a gynaecologist if problem persists
