What Causes Abdominal Bloating And Headache Along With Elevated BP?

Hi my husband hasn t been feeling well all day. He does have a history of A-Fib but no chest problems. Felt really bloated early and headache along with. I checked his BP @ 1:30 it was 128/60 p41 I rechecked @ 4:20 it was 111/57 p41. Should this be a cause for alarm? He is resting now.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello!

Thank you for the query.

Atrial fibrillation can lead to blood clots formation and arteries obstruction in the intestines and brain. This is the only reason to be alarmed. His blood pressure is fine and so is heart rate. But if the abdominal pain wont go away or headache wont get less intense, it would be good to have it checked.

Hope this helps.
Regards.
