What Causes Abdominal Bloating And Pain Under The Rib Cage?

I am 47 years old. I am female and had a partial hysterectomy about 5 years ago. Currently, I am experiencing serious bloating over the past 6 months and I have a pain in my gut just under my rib cage. I can t bend well because of this pain. I have been to my doctor but she seems more concerned about my thyroid (low) levels and extreme high blood pressure. I just want the pain to go away. I was in the ER about a month ago because one Saturday morning the pain in my overall gut was huge and had a CT scan that was clear and found only a urinary tract infection. What could be causing this pain for so long and doesn t appear on a CT scan?

The abdomen bloating with pain under rib cage, with normal CT scan can be
neurologic, muscular, diaphragm spasm related, other intestine issues, biliary colic or others.

Though primary relief with antacid, non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, I strongly recommend to consult consultant surgeon for proper evaluation clinically and decide the curative line of management.
