What Causes Abdominal Bloating And Weight Gain After Taking Plan B?

Hi I and my husband had a accident on the 14 of may and day after I took a plan b pill on the may 15. Did have a light PM s on may 31- June 5th. Since then nothing and it s June 23 I have noticed a gain weight and my stomach got bigger ....is it normal? did home pregnancy tests all came out negative .... should I be worried ?

I've gone through your query. I can understand your anxiety.

Plan B or morning after pill has few side effects like stomach pain, dizziness, headache, breast pain, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, changes in menstrual cycle etc.

Also, it's not 100% protective. So chances of getting pregnant is still there. I advice you to,
- Do serum beta HCG test which is more reliable than HPT to rule out pregnancy.
- Consult your doctor for further assistance
