About 6 months ago I started to bloat after eating certain types of food , I look like I m about 8 months pregnant for two hours then it went away. About two months ago it began happening every time I eat, even salad but still went away after a couple hours. Now it s constant I look like I m about to have a baby and no matter what I eat I have been bloated for a week 24/7

1. Since during pregnancy there is higher level of progesterone hormone which relaxes your smooth muscles of gastro intestinal tract resulting in slowing of digestion leading to gas, flatulence, burping and bloating.

2. As pregnancy is advanced, thus growing uterus further occupies the abdominal cavity and slows digestion resulting in heart burn and constipation also.

3. drink plenty of water, and opt for smaller meals which will prevent overloading of digestive tract.

4. Avoid: cabbage, onions, fried foods, sugary foods, and rich buttery sauces
