What Causes Abdominal Bloating Post Double Mastectomy?

I had a double mastectomy 9 days ago, and am doing well except that my abdomen is VERY bloated. I can t button pants that fit nicely and comfortably before surgery. It is not a hard distention and I am not constipated. Do I need to be concerned? Will this go away? What can I do to reduce it.?

I really appreciate your concern, flatulence could be the reason and it may be due to dyspepsia, some time may be associated with infection, I would treat this patients with Tab Omeprazole 40 mg Domperidone 30 mg once in day at evening time, with Tab Doxycycline 100 mg once in day for five days, in your case it is nothing to take anything with the history of surgery hope this information helps.
