General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

Most probably it is due to gastritis or acid reflex.
As the first-line management, you can take antacids like omeprazole or pantoprazole for symptomatic relief,
Avoid spicy foods as it might cause exacerbation of symptoms.
If symptoms persist better to consult a gastroenterologist and get evaluated.
In that case you might require an endoscopy.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
