What Causes Abdominal Bloating, Tenderness In Breast And Headache?

Hi, I had my copper IUD removed on Aug 27th and the first day of my last period was Aug 8th. I still have not had my period! My breasts are enlarged and painful and tummy swollen (period symptoms) and have had regular headaches. I took two home pregnancy tests last week and both were NEGATIVE. When will my cycle return to normal? My husband and I are trying for a baby. Any help much appreciated! Thanks

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

* Post IUD removal, it takes around a period of one menses cycle to get back the previous rhythm normal.

Kindly wait for a period of further few days for next menstrual cycle to come, before approaching your OBGY.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel
