What Causes Abdominal Bloating While On Mi-Acid Gas Relief?
I have been taking Mi-Acid Gas Relief for about 6 months and it has worked fine and I get a bowl movement in the morning and one in the afternoon. Lately It is more than 24 hours before it comes. and the stools a are small and many in numbers. Can you get too used to it? I do have a problem with bloating since my fall on back last year. It seems to pop the gas bubbles. I can hear my bowls gurgglling but it is not working like it use to. Some times I like my favorite Lactulose Encephalophy for emergencies. But I have tried both today and they appear like they are not working... I fell two days ago on my bottom very hard could that be messing up my bowls.? Thanks Mr. Nance
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
It is advisable to take it easy whatever the sound you hear because it may not be due to any disease but it is the peristalsis sound.
Just drink more water and have more fiber containing diet. Try to avoid taking unnecessary medicine. If you do not have any obvious pathology here it seems to be just constipation condition.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Akhtarhusain
