What Causes Abdominal Cramps And Vaginal Spotting While On Birth Control Pills?

I m on birth control, we used a condom that didn t break, and my last period ended 5 days prior to sex. We had rough sex and I was fine. 4 days later (10 days from last period end) I am experiencing cramping and a light period (this is the third day). What could have caused this? Can I be pregnant?

Hello,

Since the intercourse was protected one, there are no chances of pregnancy. Mild cramping pain can occur during menses and you should not be worried about that. Take paracetamol for pain.
