What Causes Abdominal Pain And Frequent Urination While Suffering From Migraine?
Ok this is going to be a stupid question. But I just suffer a migraine and I had it for 5 hours. I went and pee every 20 minutes. And I would always right before I pee. I would get sick to my stomach also. Could someone please tell me why I went to the bathroom every 20 minutes and sick to my stomach before hand. Thank you for your time doctor s.
You have a history of Migraine. You are suggested to get clinically assessed & treated at the earliest. You can take acetaminophen (tylenol) or Sumatriptin (Imitrex) for relieve. Symptoms of migraine can be nausea, vomiting, increased urination, fatigue, numbness, tingling, sweating, etc. Monitor fluid food intake & avoid caffeine which has diuretic effects. Do not take food that irritates your bladder. Take bladder retraining. Avoid food or environment that triggers migraine, stay away from stress, diet modification & adequate sleep.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Nupur K, General & Family Physician
