Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Causes Abdominal Pain And Vaginal Spotting In Between Menstrual Cycle?
For the past two months I have been experiencing spotting between menstrual periods and I having been having a creamy clear like discharge from my genitals. Every now and again I may feel like something is moving in my stomach and every now and then I may feel a pain in my abdomen. Do you know what these symptoms mean?
Actually, the common cause of this is ovulation bleeding which can occurs at mid cycle. It lasts for 2 to 3 days. In this period you also have egg white looking discharge and one sided abdominal pain. You should be worried but not too much. I think you should wait and see for 2 menstrual cycles. If you have bleeding in irregular intervals then you should visit your doctor. Your doctor may investigate you.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Asha Pramanik, Pathologist and Microbiologist
