Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Causes Abdominal Pain, Back Pain, Nausea And Indigestion?
Yes, I m experiencing abdominal pain in middle of stomach, also lower abdominal pain more on right side and lower back pain in more on right side. Feeling nauseous and did vomit today. Chills and loose stools, plus I do have trouble with indigestion due to a hiatus hernia upper left side. Pain and nausea have been going since last week. I did have an exploratory surgery for ruptured appendix many years ago.
According to the chief complaints you mentioned above there might be these following possibilities 1. Pancreatitis which is the inflammation of the pancreas and you may experience vomiting, malabsorbtion and severe pain in Abdomen usually right side radiating to back. 2. Ruptured hernia can also lead to pain in the Abdomen with symptoms like vomitings.
So it's better if you do the following.. 1. Get usg Abdomen 2. Do Complete Blood Count, liver function test and kidney function test 3. Serum amylase and lipase 4. PT and INR 5. Consultant with Gastroenterologist
Thanks
Regards Dr Varun
