Noted the history pain in abdomen, vomiting and gurgling in stomach, particularly on eating for the last few days, felt better with Alka-Seltzer and an anxiety pill but eating something re-started the problem. The history is indicating that the most probable cause can be an intestinal obstruction. I would advise you the following in such a situation: Get an opinion of a General Surgeon. X-ray of the abdomen in standing position give the diagnosis in most of the cases. Additional investigations are doe as per the clinical evaluation like tests of stool, blood, urine, ultrasonography and CT scan of the abdomen to rule out other causes. You may need an admission to the hospital for intravenous fluids and antibiotics and if the medical treatment does not relieve the problems you may need a corrective surgery.
